Following a nomination for a BBC “Make a Difference Award”, we are proud to announce that the group has won the award for Community Group. Here’s some photographs from the night and footage captured from follow-up interviews that Nicola was invited to do with the media.
This is an incredible award and, although we aren’t quite 2 years old yet, we are fast approaching 500 members. Sadly, this demonstrates just how necessary this group is and highlights the lack of effective support that is available.
